Huggins Haven RV Campground is a quiet, wooded, year round base camp for hunters in western Kentucky. We are minutes from Peabody Wildlife Management Area and an easy drive to Land Between the Lakes, with level sites, water and electric, and no gate hours to work around. A real base camp, not a parking lot
Level gravel sites set in the trees, room for trucks, trailers and ATVs, fire pits for the end of the day, and a fishing pond on the property. We are open all year, so early season, rifle season and late season all work the same.
Close to the public land you came for
Peabody Wildlife Management Area, one of the largest public hunting areas in Kentucky, is a short drive from our gate. Land Between the Lakes, Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park and thousands of acres of surrounding western Kentucky ground are all within comfortable reach for a morning hunt.
Built around early mornings and long days
Come and go on your own schedule. Hot shower, a dry place to clean up, and a quiet site to sleep in between sits. Groceries, fuel, ice and sporting goods are available in Madisonville and Hopkinsville, both a short drive away.
Nightly, weekly and season long stays
Nightly rates are $45 to $47. Weekly and 30 day rates are available for hunters staying through a season, with discounts for veterans, military, first responders, seniors and Good Sam members.

Are you open during hunting season?
Yes. Huggins Haven is open all year, including the full Kentucky deer, turkey and waterfowl seasons and through the winter.

Do you allow ATVs and extra vehicles?
