Huggins Haven RV Campground: Rules and Regulations

Think of campground rules as a roadmap to a fantastic camping trip. By following them, we can all ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for ourselves and our fellow adventurers. So next time you’re setting up camp at Huggins Haven, remember – the rules are there to keep everyone happy, safe, and ready to make lasting memories under the Kentucky sky!

Reservation Policies

To secure your reservation at Huggins Haven RV Campground, simply go online and click on your chosen site, check dates available and submit your reservation. A confirmation email will be sent to you. It’s that easy. Your credit card will be charged the full amount of the reservation when you book your reservation.

Reservations are not completed until the liability waiver, campground rules, and cancellation policies are agreed to and submitted online with your reservation.

Reservation Changes

Reservation changes must be made by phone call speaking with property management.

There are no cancellation fees for reservation date changes made at least 7 days prior to your original reservation date, if the new reservation date is within the same calendar year.

No refunds for shortened stays or early check out.

Cancellation Policies

No refunds on cancellations.

Huggins Haven Gift Card/Credit will be provided for any cancellation. Huggins Haven Gift Card/Credit will be good for the full amount of your reservation or purchase and is redeemable for a future stay at Huggins Haven RV Campground within 12 Months.

Management reserves the right to rent out any reserved spaces where a cancellation notice or late check in is not provided by phone call speaking with management personnel.

Check In/Out

Check in time is 2:00 PM CST to 10:00 PM CST (Unless early check in time is approved)
Check out time is before 11:00 AM CST (Unless late check out time is approved)

Dumping Grey/Black Tanks

We have a dump station on property. It is the only approved place to dispose of grey and black water. Absolutely no Grey or Black water dumping at your site.

Campers Per Site

All Campers and guests must be registered to be on the property. A maximum of 6 persons per camp site. RV sites cannot be sublet.

Driving, Biking and Hiking

Campground speed limit is 5 miles per hour for safety and dust reasons. Stay on the designated campground roads & trail areas depicted on the maps. ATV’s, dirt bikes, and go carts are not allowed to be driven on property. Loud golf carts may be prohibited.
The campground borders private property, please remain on designated trails or roads for your safety. Do not wander into the woods off the pathways provided or outside the designated areas on the campground map.

Noise & Behavior Requirements

Quiet time is from 10:00 PM CST – 08:00 AM CST. No nuisance, noxious, or offensive behavior is allowed. No display or shooting of fireworks, firearms, BB guns, archery, or slingshots. No open display of alcohol. No drugs, illicit, or disorderly behavior tolerated.
Management reserves the right to cancel reservations for campground rule violations without refund.

Pet Policy

Dogs must be accompanied and leashed when outdoors. No excessive barking dogs. Pet waste must be picked up, sealed in a bag, and placed in a dumpster. Common household domestic animals only. Max of two pets per site.

Fires and Fire Pits

Camp fires must be manned at all times until flames and all embers are extinguished and safe. No campfires during Hopkins County, KY fire bans, sustained winds over 8 MPH or gusting over 12 MPH. You must use a spark screen if burning a fire. Firewood is available for sale at the campground office; however, you may collect fallen or dead tree wood from the property to use. No cutting down living trees.

Trash and Dumpsters

Garbage must be placed into a bag, tied closed and secured into a proper container, safe from animals and winds. A dumpster is provided at the office.

Our Pond

Catch & Release fishing only. No swimming or wading in the pond. Fishing poles can be rented at the office.

Enforcement

Management reserves the right to cancel or refuse services. No refunds.

If you have an emergency, call 911 for local emergency services, there are no medical or security staff on property. (Address is 534 Railroad St., Saint Charles, Kentucky).
